Felix Picard – Zaventem, Belgium, 2000, Studied at KASK & Conservatorium – creates objects that are open to interpretation. His furniture and installations are often rough, strange, or uncomfortable. They deliberately play with our expectations of comfort and aesthetics. What is normally soft, clean, or functional becomes, in Felix’s work, something odd, slow, or uneasy. Not everything has to be beautiful or efficient — discomfort is allowed to exist, even in design.
Felix continues to explore his path in the world of design and art, constantly growing as a person and as a designer.
